We start most mornings with a green smoothie and its a delicious way to start the day! My kids love smoothies and request them often. It also happens to be the easiest way to pack in a ton of nutrients in one delicious sip.
I’m sure you have heard about how beneficial green smoothies are for sustained energy and fighting fatigue throughout the day. It is a combo of all the greens in it that improve hydration, rejuvenate your body and even help with natural weight loss. Not only are we getting a jump start on our veggie intake for the day but also a great dose of vitamins and fibre!
Yesterday I made my morning green smoothie and was trying to use up items in the fridge that were starting to turn a little funky. I also added in a pear because I had no apples and the result…..AMAZING!
Green smoothies are adaptable with whatever you have and yesterday I stumbled a cross a delicious concoction that I’m not naming my Summer Green Smoothie! So delicious it is definitely sticking around for the summer months.
